Pasta in Paris and never having to unbutton my jeans on a date again 😭

You know the move.
Sitting at dinner secretly popping the button under the table and praying he doesn’t notice. 👖

And the worst part?
It wasn’t because you “ate too much.”

Your stomach was just so messed up that a normal healthy meal could make you look 6 months pregnant by the end of the night.

Hot girls have IBS is funny until your entire social life depends on your bloat level.

Until you’re changing outfits 4 times before dinner because by 7 PM nothing fits the same.

Until you avoid sleepovers, beach days, tight dresses, first dates, long car rides, girls trips, literally ANYTHING where your stomach might decide to act up.

The anxiety waiting for the gurgle.
The spasm.
The pain.
The “omg do I look pregnant right now?”
The pretending you’re not uncomfortable when your stomach is hard as a rock.

I lived like this for 25 years.

I tried every diet. Every “gut healthy” food. Every wellness hack.

Honestly the healthier I ate the MORE bloated I got and it made no sense.

Meanwhile doctors kept dismissing me.
“Probably stress.”
“Just IBS.”
“Take Miralax.”

My gut was literally ruining my life.

Then I finally ran a GI-MAP on myself and found out I had severe digestive insufficiency. My body wasn’t breaking down food properly at all. I was missing digestive enzymes and barely absorbing nutrients which explained why I was bloated, exhausted, inflamed, breaking out, constipated, and still feeling awful no matter how “healthy” I ate.

Once I actually addressed the root cause everything changed.

And no… needing Miralax to survive is not normal.

If your stomach controls your confidence, your outfits, your dating life, or your social plans… your body is trying to tell you something.

My Free T3 came back low and I am not surprised. My Free T3 came back low and I am not surprised.

Brain fog, dry skin, fatigue, gut issues flaring. My body was already telling me. The labs just confirmed what I already suspected.

Here is what drove it and exactly what I am doing to fix it. Including the part where I let gluten back in and paid for it.

If your thyroid labs have ever come back “normal” but you still feel off, Free T3 is probably the marker no one checked.

Comment THYROID and I will send you the full thyroid panel I request for every client, including the optimal ranges your doctor is probably not using.

Your gut might be the piece nobody has talked to you about yet.

The connection between your gut microbiome and your hormones is one of the most important and most overlooked areas of women’s health right now. And the research is catching up fast.

Swipe through for a breakdown of the gut-hormone axis: what it is, why it matters for PCOS, PMS, and fertility, and what you can actually start doing about it.

Save this. Share it with a friend who has been struggling and can’t figure out why. 💜

Not just TSH. Free T3. Free T4. Reverse T3. Antibodies. The full picture.

Because a quarter of women with PCOS have an underlying thyroid condition that is driving every single symptom they’ve been told is “just PCOS.” Irregular cycles. Hair loss. Fatigue. Dry skin. Weight that won’t move. Feeling like your spark is gone.

My client Claire had all of it. Her TSH was normal. Nobody looked further. When we ran her full thyroid panel her Free T3, the active hormone that actually gets into your cells and controls ovulation was low.

We also found gut imbalances on her GI-MAP that were affecting her ability to absorb nutrients. This matters because your thyroid needs specific nutrients to produce hormones. If your gut isn’t absorbing what you eat, your thyroid is running on fumes.

Four months later her cycles were regular, her hair stopped falling out, her skin was glowing, and she felt like herself for the first time in years.

The PCOS symptoms resolved, because they were thyroid symptoms. And nobody had looked.

If you’ve been given a PCOS diagnosis and you still don’t feel right, this is your sign.

Hot take: not every “mild PCOS” diagnosis is actua Hot take: not every “mild PCOS” diagnosis is actually PCOS.

Comment “PCOS” or apply through the link in my bio to work with us inside our high-support 1:1 functional nutrition program 🤍

A lot of women are being told they have PCOS because they’re not ovulating consistently, gaining weight, dealing with hair loss, dry skin, fatigue, cravings, or irregular cycles… meanwhile nobody ever fully checked their thyroid.

And no .. a “normal” TSH alone is not a full thyroid workup.

My client Claire came to me after being told she likely had mild PCOS. But when I reviewed her labs, looked at her symptoms, and ran a more comprehensive assessment, we found her thyroid markers were suboptimal — especially her Free T3, the active thyroid hormone your cells actually use.

She also had gut imbalances impacting digestion and nutrient absorption, which matters because your thyroid NEEDS nutrients to function properly.

Once we supported her thyroid, digestion, minerals, and overall metabolism, her “PCOS-like” symptoms started improving:
✨ better energy
✨ less hair shedding
✨ improved cycles
✨ warmer hands & feet
✨ glowing skin
✨ finally feeling like herself again

This is why root-cause testing matters.

At our practice, we don’t just slap a diagnosis on you and send you on your way. We look at the full picture — hormones, thyroid, gut health, blood sugar, minerals, stress, lifestyle, and metabolism.

If you’ve been told “everything is normal” but you KNOW something feels off… this is your sign to get a second opinion.
